Wild. Yesterday was the first snow day that I've experienced during my 1.5 years at University. Not only was our school closed, but I know 3 others were closed in the surrounding area, too. Apparently the school boards were worried about a potential storm, which never did end up amounting to very much. By the evening there was a heavy downfall, but it didn't make the roads all that unsafe. Today was far worse for driving as blowing snow made it so I couldn't see the car ahead of me. I saw about 10 cars parked on the side of the road waiting for the storm to pass. To make matters worse, one of my wiper blades wouldn't clear part of my front window, so I had to negotiate looking in the clear areas, as well as managing my way through the blowing snow.

I know Michelle and I will probably be voyaging to the mall tomorrow. It seems we go to the mall about once a week. Sometimes twice. And I remember back in High School, I almost never went to the mall. The only times I would go is if a music CD or game came out that I wanted to get, or at Christmas time. And even then I barely spent any time in them. It's not that I didn't like them, it's just I don't usually like to wander. Just get in, buy, and leave. Mind you, I've improved. I don't mind so much wandering in the mall anymore. And since I'm in co-op with no homework or exams, it's a great way to pass some time.

Well, if all goes according to plan, hotdogs and KD tonight for dinner!

It's Monday!

Well, not sure what I'll be up to tonight - probably just watch some TV or listen to some music. Then at 10 I'll be picking up a certain someone!

Tomorrow Saw II and the Our Lady Peace DVD come out (I think it's tomorrow). I have to buy Saw II on both DVD and PSP, mainly because Michelle convinced me to buy the original Saw on the PSP, so I need to have both collections on both formats now. The Our Lady Peace DVD I wouldn't normally be interested in, but since I was at the show - and might be on the DVD - I should buy it. Plus, I would like to see the rehearsals the band went through. And of course, the actual concert.

And I still forget that I'm going to a concert on March 20th. Hopefully I'll remember enough to take the day off work.

So that's about it. I took one of those online quizzes, the one that Dorothelle did about what your name means in the dictionary, and I ended up being a lewd street performer. Lewd? After looking it up on Google, I found out that it means suggestive of or tending to moral looseness. Well, I guess being a performer isn't that bad, but would anybody actually pay me to be a lewd street performer?

*crickets*

That's what I thought.

Finally, finally, Pittsburgh earned their fifth Superbowl victory. And to top it off, the team gave the Bus what he wanted: a retirement ring.

Anyway, the weekend was pretty fun. On Saturday, Michelle and I went to the mall with one of her friends. I didn't buy anything (as usual), but Michelle bought a new green coat which I think is quite professional looking.

Saturday night we just watched the first Harry Potter, then I made the mistake of attempting to drive home, pick up some things, then come back. The roads were so slippery, it was damn near impossible to stay in the lines. In fact, on the street before I turned down the one I live on, I ended up slipping back and forth, swerving, eventually regaining control. Not having control of a vehicle is not fun! Well, I think it would be fun if I was in a big open parking lot. Anyway, I turned down the street where I live on, and missed my stop, either because I was too focused on what just occurred, or I simply didn't care and I wanted to go home. So I continued on the road, and what do I see? A bus turned sideways. Not sideways as in, the bus was turned over sideways, but sideways as in the bus was turned perpendicular to direction of the road (there, that sounds better!). Luckily there was enough space for my car to get through or else I would have had to turn around, and go back through the slippery road (let's be honest, all of the roads were too slippery).

On Sunday, Michelle and I drove down to my house to spend Superbowl Sunday there. We went out for lunch, went to one of the malls, and watched the Superbowl. I'm not sure if Michelle enjoyed it all that much, but I know I did. I mean, Pittsburgh was in the Superbowl, how could I not like it? If they lost, I guess I wouldn't enjoy it very much. I'd be pretty upset, but they won!

All right, so tonight I believe I am going to reformat my computer. It's been acting weird ever since the last reformat. And now it just shuts off randomly, but I'm fairly sure it's not a virus, so I don't know what happened. I wonder if the blizzard we had on Saturday had anything to do with it? Providing the reformat goes well, I'll install my new DVD burner as well. Hopefully everything will go smoothly.

Well, I'm at work and talking to a person with whom I have many conversations with. Leaving for home in a couple of hours, then off to a theatre production providing I can buy tickets. And if not, then I'll just go another day.

I've been looking over some of the Superbowl picks. At the Cleveland Browns site, 2 of the 3 picks go to Pittsburgh. Superbowl.com picks the Steelers as well. While I'm happy that sports analysists are choosing Pittsburgh, I'd rather Pittsburgh be the underdog going in, as that's what they thrive on. Then you have Porter running his mouth against Seattle, which is fine, but if Pittsburgh ends up losing the game, the team will look just that much worse. I'd rather save the trash talk for after the game, then really rub it in their faces when Seattle loses (and they will lose).

Anyway, I better get back to working, or rather, not working. I'm looking forward to this weekend as finally I'm doing something outside of the city!

Should I end with a quote or something of interest? Hmm.. I guess this picture of a Husky will do.

So I'm at work and I decided to do an update.. pretty weird, eh?

My second update in how long.. like 2 months? I created an account on LiveJournal to see how flexible it was and when I found out that the "flexibility" was very limited, I ran screaming.

And now I don't know what I should do. Should I get back to work? Well, actually I really haven't done anything at all today. I should be working on a project that I've been on for the past month, but I really don't feel like it. Oh! I have done something. I had my website stuff uploaded for [insert company name here]. Wild stuff.

The Superbowl is this Sunday and it should be a good one.. my favourite team, and my favourite person will be there! Well.. Dorothelle won't be at the game. If she was, then I'd be begging to go with her.

Speaking of going places.. yes, that was a segue way. Dorothelle and I are going to.. Oasis on March 20th! How awesome is that? Pretty sweet if you ask me. The only bad part is that it's on a Monday.. which reminds me, I have to take that day off work. Next week I'll ask for it off.

Well, back to work. Or at least pretending to work. It's a boring day today.

(I updated.. wow)
